Training
Building on decades of training experience, across various industries and complemented by a Masters in eBusiness & Communication, the MichmAsh training programmes are designed to develop understanding and impart practical skills which provide ongoing benefits to your organisation.
We have a similar approach across all of our training programmes:
background and context are provided as a foundation, improving grasp of the material;
content is customised to each organisation and user department, as appropriate;
technical concepts are simplified (rather than omitted) for non-technical students;
discussion is used to establish existing skill level, understand student perspective and gain student input;
each student has their own course booklet for notations and future reference;
once theory is covered, focus is on practical application; and
skills encapsulated in small number of take-away principles.
Our existing training programmes cover professional development. We can also compile custom programmes from scratch, based on your requirements, or deliver 3rd party training programmes.

Project Management & Support Coaching
Complement your staff’s technical skills with the "soft" skills that aren’t taught but can make the difference when running a project or providing support to a range of stakeholders
-
This course looks at the "soft" skills that can make the difference when running a project or providing support to a range of stakeholders. While methodologies are well covered by available training programmes, many technically capable managers and support personnel may be challenged by other aspects that are arguably more important than the methodologies - communication, planning, understanding authorities, documentation and, most important, resilience. The course material is designed to raise awareness of the importance of these aspects and then develop some practical skill that could be put to immediate use by the student. The objective of the course is to enable the project manager or support consultant to maximise their effectiveness, improve accountability and minimise misunderstandings and conflicts with project and support stakeholders.
Professional Consulting
Examines all facets of the relationship between consultant and customer, raising awareness and providing guidance to become an integral part of the customer operation.

It is designed to raise awareness of different aspects and to impart some guidelines and skills in the area of methodology, communication and documentation. The objective of the course is to increase the value that the consultant provides the customer, making them an integral part of the customer operation.
Online Communication
Raises awareness of the different aspects of communication in general and then applies these to an online environment, also providing guidance on composing high quality online communication and content.
-
In the business world, email has become the preferred method of communication and the internet is the preferred research source. Most of us have had to just "pick up" the necessary skills for online communication. Due to the nature of email, we tend to be quite casual with it and this can sometimes lead to misunderstandings and problems. Email is now the primary form of correspondence in the business world and it needs to be used with a similar level of care and detail that is associated with other written communication.
In many cases, web page content is simply content that has been transferred from other printed materials. The result is content that is difficult to read, search, navigate, print, etc.. Content for online viewing needs to be designed for viewing via a screen and this may impact the fonts, colours, page length and width, language, etc..
This course is designed to raise awareness of the different aspects of communication in general and then apply these to an online environment. Guidelines and additional skills will enable you to produce a high quality of online communication and content which:
reduces misunderstandings;
improves accountability;
effectively disseminates information;
improves ability to read and search content and messages;
promotes collaboration and reduces conflict; and
caters to a wider range of reading styles and abilities.
